Algerian President, sacked Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tebboune 

Algerian President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika has sacked Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who has been in the job for less than three months.

%% title%%No reason was given for the dismissal, but it came just days after the president sent Tebboune a strongly worded letter demanding changes in policy.

Immediately, a new prime minister has been named as Ahmed Ouyahia, who has served as the president’s chief of staff.
